Hasanistan to vote on use of new coat of arms!!!

The Hasani government is planning to vote on whether to use the new coat of arms which is much more socialist than the current one. A new national motto is also being voted on.

Bosnian genocide, 20 years on!!!

Hasanistan is today remembering the systematic killing of Bosnian Muslims (Bosniaks) by Serb forces in the city of Srebrenica. Hasanistan has lit a candle for the victims and today and tomorrow are official days of remembrance.

Foreign minister's statement about sentencing to death of Mohammed Morsi!!!

In an official statement today, Foreign Minister Hasan Çakar has condemned the Egyptian government for sentencing ousted-president Mohammed Morsi to death. FM Hasan has also said that the recent ruling in Egypt is barbaric and has advised Egypt to give Morsi a more lenient sentence. Governer of Srigina Ada, Kaab Millet, has also condemned the ruling saying that el-Sisi's actions are illegal just like his coup. Morsi is facing the death penalty for his alleged involvement in a prison break in which 34 Muslim Brotherhood members escaped.

100 years since Battle of Çanakkale!!!

Hasanistan is commemorating the 100th year anniversary of the unsuccessful invasion of the Gallipoli peninsula. On April 25 1915, the Çanakkale Campaign began and lasted until January 9 1916. Future hero of the Turkish War of Independence, Mustafa Kemal, proved his military knowledge as he led a successful defense against French and British Empire forces. However Hasanistan is also remembering the Allied side who also suffered terrible losses.

Hasanistan to consider recognizing Kosovo!!!

Hasan Çakar has stated that Hasanistan may consider recognizing the Republic of Kosovo. The Republic of Kosovo declared independence from Serbia in 2008 after being under UN control since 1999.

President's reaction to Hasani-Bosmańska tensions!!!

"The confirmation of Bosmańsk spying on our and other nation is not only a grave breach of trust, but also of the privacy rights of the peoples of these nations. Whether or not these actions were sanctioned by the state of Bosmańsk is irrelevant to the attack on our sovereignty. Regardless, our intelligence services will work tirelessly to investigate the allegations and find out who specifically was responsible."

Bosmańsk-Hasanistan relations strained; allegations of spying.

Allegations of Bosmańsk spying on the governments of Hasanistan, Hortania and Wensleydale have been confirmed. Although the real reason is unclear, Bosmańsk politicians were trying to gain power in other nations. Foreign Minister Hasan Çakar has been contacting the Bosmańsk government over the issue and an investigation is beginning, in which Hasanistan will give assistance. President Tanju Çakar has yet to make a statement.
