Presidential decree returns COVID measures to fight Omicron variant, plans building observatory, and grants Hegro Çelebi many titles

President Çakar has issued a presidential decree which will return the national COVID measures to counter the Omicron variant, began the planning phase of establishing a national observatory in Köktuğluk Sanjak and grants numerous ceremonial titles to Natsuki Hegro Çelebi due to his efforts in ideological studies.

Firstly, the President has decided to re-instate the COVID measures to promote action against the new Omicron variant which has been described as more transmissible (although it is not known by the World Health Organisation whether it is more deadly yet). The provisional measures returning shall be from the CPMC Act, which attempt to lessen the risks of the virus from in-person contact. The government has also advised that people continue following their country of residence's advice.

Secondly, the planning and funding phase shall begin for establishing a observatory to study astronomy and the stars in the eastern karye of Köktuğluk. The observatory will be known as the Uluğbey Observatory, named after the Timurid ruler and grandson of Tamerlane Ulugh Bey (also known as Mīrzā Muhammad Tāraghay bin Shāhrukh) who was a renowned astronomer and himself established an observatory in Samarkand, modern Uzbekistan in the 1420s which was regarded as one of the greatest of its time. The design of the observatory is going to be based upon the original observatory, featuring its Timurid architectural elements. The dome of the observatory will be designed similar to the domes of mosques and buildings in Samarkand, but is also planned to come with the ability to open and close.

Finally, Natsuki Hegro Çelebi was gifted more ceremonial titles in appreciation of his actions in promoting national interests in Hasanistan and opposing subversive ideas. His full title is now Natsuki Hegro Çelebi, Atabeg of Arapadalar, Beg of Körfeziye Sanjak, the Grand Autismo, Shōgun of the Ryukyu and Northern Mariana Islands, Führer of Alsace-Lorraine, Negus of Niger, President of the Confederate States of America, Supreme Soviet of Moldova, Albanian of the Albanians, Chief Eunuch of the Personal Harem of Hasan Çakar, Grand Mufti of Delaware, Grand Spook of Stirner, Honorary Son of Joe Biden, Slayer of Nicholas J. Fuentes, Holy Emanation and Viceroy-on-Earth of the Great Leader of the Khmer Revolution General-Secretary Pol Pot, Scourge of Hermes Trismegistus, Regulator of Anime, Destroyer of Alkmaar and other Dutch Abodes, Cuckolder of Mahuset, Conqueror of the Adammic Empire, of the Austenasian Empire, and of the Pavlovian Empire, and Provost of PhD Engineer Mullah Muhammed Khan Institute of Lahore Medical Engineering Jinnah University.

HIM the Shahanshah passes new ferman on 18th Rabi Al-Akhar 1443 granting noble titles

HIM the Shahanshah İskender IV, May Allah (Subhanahu Wa ta'ala) Bless His Reign, passed a Ferman granting new noble titles, including giving a landed noble title to the former President of Hasanistan in 2017. Some titles have also been given to foreign dignatories to express gratitude for their friendly attitude towards Hasanistan.

Those granted titles are as follows:

• Daniil Bodrav (formerly Asghar R.) shall be become Agha of Güldag.
• His all-Holiness +Vasyl II shall become a non-landed Çelebi.
• Rikki Chadwick shall become a non-landed Çelebi.
• Nayru Sicilyalı shall become a non-landed Çelebi.
• Adrian Wojtasz shall become a non-landed Çelebi.
• Johannes Toome shall become a non-landed Çelebi.
• Joseph Hackley shall become a non-landed Çelebi.
• Colorado Douge shall become a non-landed Çelebi.

2021 Brennonian election results

Published in partnership with the Kingdom of Brennonia as part of the Hardy-Çakar Press Association.

On 21 November, Brennonians went to the polls in their first national election since the formation of their country in 2019. The legislative elections were limited in the number of seats, only two, being chosen and two currently-serving deputies did not need to stand. The candidates in the election were left-wing populist Shady Morsi, self-described centre-right conservative Tobey Wyles and "resident ideologist" Ned O'Brien.

The election used a multiple non-transferable vote system to elect the two deputies, meaning citizens had to select their two preferred candidates of the three. Citizens of Mahuset and Hasanistan resident in Brennonia were eligible to vote. The results of the election were as follows (no information on turnout was available, although there were a total of 10 voters):

1. Shady Morsi - 8 votes (elected)
2. Tobey W - 6 votes (tie)
3. Ned O'Brien - 6 votes (tie)

Due to the tie for the second seat betwene Wyles and O'Brien, the King decided who of two were to become a deputy. He later chose Tobey Wyles.

Following the election, the newly-elected deputies were immediately acceded to their positions.

President issues decree expanding recognition of nations and visa-free regimes, adopting Contentwatch system and commits to open borders with Konraq

Today, President Çakar has issued a decree which has established unilateral recognition of a variety of states in hopes of establishing bilateral relations in the future, expanded visa-free access to numerous states as well upgrading certain existing visa-free regimes, established free movement for Konraq and committed to eventual open borders, and adopted the Contentwatch system as the official content rating system in Hasanistan.

Firstly, Hasanistan has committed to unilaterally recognise all other socii states of the Empire of Pavlov (currently Rascia and Nichensburg), the Federal Republic of Lostisland, the Republic of Belcity and the People's Communist Republic of Orientia. Hasanistan has said it will in the future hope to sign a treaty establishing bilateral relations with these nations and mutually recognising each other's sovereignty, especially Belcity and Orientia.

Hasanistan has also expanded its visa-free regime. Citizens of India, Moldova, East Turkistan, the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria and Slitronia have all been granted the ability of visa-free stay for 180 days. 30-days visa-free travel has also been granted to Portugal, Norway, Liechtenstein, Slovakia, Syria, Maldives, Bhutan, Morocco, Mauritania, Canada, Jamaica, Slavtria, Etukan, Lostisland and Sealand.

Additionally, Hasanistan has committed to eventual total open borders with its enclaved neighbour Konraq and has granted its citizens the rights to work and live in Hasanistan immediately. Konraqi citizens can now live and work in Hasanistan as well as other equal civil rights to citizens in social areas, as well as being able to vote in local elections.

Finally, Hasanistan has adopted the Contentwatch system as its national content rating system for various types of entertainment media including video games, films, television series and novels. Contentwatch is a Mahusetan-based content rating system, with Hasanistan's decision to adopt a foreign standard being based on the government's preference to how it functions. Contentwatch labelling will be required on products sold in Hasanistan, especially exports.

President Hasan Çakar deregulates anime

President Hasan Çakar has issued a "momentous" which deregulates the anime and asserts the right of all Hasanistanis for waifus. The decree stated that no barriers can be placed on the production, distribution and consumption of anime and its variants, and that Waifus may be held by anyone (although one person at a time) and be traded freely. The law is inspired by President Çakar's hero, Mahusetan national founding father Emiel Hardy.

Çakar issued the following statement following the announcement of the Presidential Decree: "Anime is the DNA of the soul. I have a dream, a wet dream, that one every person in this country will control their own waifu. A land of the truly free, dammit. Where every man is free to watch anime -- to consume Eniakism -- for himself. Damn all these straight-edged non-anime watchers and crypto-homosexual superhero fans. Screw this 24/7 MicroWiki spew of anti-Dutch propaganda by the Pagan neckbeard. Screw "Mouzilo gay pride". Screw those insult anime! Screw all of it! Burn it all down!"
