August 2016 Kurultay meeting

In the second Kurultay meeting since Hasan Çakar Beg's election, Premier Shady Morsi proposed a controversial motion of turning Hasanistan into a semi constitutional monarchy. The motion was rejected two votes to one.
  • Shady Morsi's proposal: I propose that Hasanistan become a khanate (a semi constitutional monarchy, still part of Pavlov), abolish the parties and most importantly abolish the corrupt republic. A republic is against tradition and a khanate is unique.
  • Votes: 1 support, 0 abstain, 2 oppose, 1 not present

First Supreme Council meeting for President Hasan

President Hasan Çakar held his first Supreme Council meeting today. Usually the president isn't present in the Supreme Council but since Hasan Çakar also holds a seat in the council as the representative for the central Pavlovian government, he was present. Today, the council voted on mostly ceremonial motions: renaming the position of president to "Beg", renaming the position of Supreme Leader to "Premier" and renaming the Supreme Council to "Kurultay". Security Minister Ulash Arda and Culture & Science Minister Kaab Millet were not present, so only Supreme Leader Shady Morsi and Hasan Çakar voted.
The result of the motions:

  • Rename Supreme Leader to Premier: 1 supported, 1 abstained, 0 opposed (2 not present) - Motion passed

Hasanistan joins the Empire of Pavlov - reforms ahead

The recently elected president Hasan Çakar has ratified a treaty with HIM Aleksandr IV,
Emperor and Autocrat of all-Pavlov, which has made Hasanistan become a dependency of the Empire of Pavlov. President Hasan was offered by the emperor the opportunity to become a autonomous territory on the 10th of August. When asked why he accepted the offer, president Hasan has said that membership in the Pavlovian Empire will "give our legislature more activity and improve our chances of full UN recognized sovereignty". Hasan has also said that he plans to heavily reform the country. Although Hasanistan is now a dependency of another country, it still has full sovereignty over its internal affairs.

Feneriye - the world superpower!!!

Proposed flag of Feneriye
Nomad Party presidential candidate Hasan Çakar has said that if he becomes president of Hasanistan that he will work to create a proposed union, known as Feneriye. The union, who's name is inspired by a football team, will be a political union between Hasanistan and an extremely close ally, MurhammedLand, with a similar structure to other political unions. Hasan has said the goal will further legitimize the Hasani push for independence as well as further strengthen Hasanistan's current influence on other separatist movements. Hasan has said the union would have a common president, common parliament, a common foreign policy and a common goal and would benefit both nations. Hasan said he was inspired to form the union after reading about Eurasianism and Russia's proposed Eurasian Union. Whether this dream will become a reality will  depend on the result of the upcoming presidential election.
