On this day (10 November) in 1938 (one year before World War II), Mustafa Kemal [the defender of the Turks in Gallipolli and Symra/İzmir] sadly passed away. He started a revolutionary ideology which would change Turkey forever. He defended Ottoman Turkey from a British-Australian army and he fought against a Greek invasion. May his memory live on!
