2020 Batyr Chess Invitational: Second round results

The first round of the Batyr Chess Invitational began on 24 June, having concluded today following the completion of the last match. The three competitors who advanced in the previous round and the randomly-selected wild card play in hopes to advance to the final, while the losers will play for third place in a playoff.
Tablekitten (Blepia) defeated Hegro (Japan), while Mahoning (Brennonia) advanced against Nino (Altenburg) due to failure to hold the match. This means that Tablekitten will face Mahoning in the final, and Hegro will face Nino in the third-place playoff.

Tablekitten vs Natsuki Hegro

Held on 24 June 2020. Tablekitten of Blepia defeated Natsuki Hegro of Japan. Tablekitten lost 14 pieces, while Hegro lost 15 pieces. Tablekitten had a move accuracy of 53.9, while Nino had a move accuracy of 26.0.

Chase Mahoning vs Nino

The match did not begin within the schedule. As Mahoning of Brennonia sent the request, but Nino of Altenburg did not reply, the match was awarded to Mahoning.
