His Majesty the Shahanshah Deñiz has issued a royal edict proclaiming an independence referendum be held between 11 May and 17 May, in which there shall be two questions:
All current eligible citizens of Hasanistan shall have the right to vote in the referendum, although citizens who are not listed within the Royal Edict will not be granted this right. A total of 15 eligable voters have the right to vote.
Hasan Çakar has been re-appointed Prime Minister and Head of the Divan to held oversee the referendum in co-operation with His Majesty to ensure the referendum and its results are free and fair, having previously resigned on 21 April and being replaced by Borys Nanatov as Acting Prime Minister.

- Should Hasanistan secede from Montescano (with bilateral ties on the 7th of September 00:00 UTC) and become an independent state? (Yes or No)
- Which form of government shall Hasanistan have if it secedes? (Monarchy or Republic)
If Hasanistan does indeed vote to secede then they shall be granted independence on the 7th September (00:00 UTC) on the ninth anniversary of Hasani independence, while if they vote to stay then they shall continue to be a Dominion of Montescano. If Hasanistan secedes but decides to maintain the monarchy, His Majesty shall continue to be Shahanshah of Hasanistan with Montescano and Hasanistan being in a personal union (similar to the previous situation prior to annexation by Montescano), while if Hasanistan secedes as a republic than Hasan Çakar shall become head of state as Acting President under the Fourth Constitution of Hasanistan which was used previously before joining Montescano. We, Our Imperial Majesty and Hasan Çakar (Filaret Hasanovych Tsakarin in Montescano), have agreed after mutual consideration to have a referendum take place in Hasanistan on the following 2 question:- Should Hasanistan secede from Montescano (with bilateral ties on the 7th of September 00:00 UTC) and become an independent state? (Yes/No)- Which form of government shall Hasanistan have if it secedes? (Monarchy/Republic)We have both agreed to whatever the result is respect the outcome. Any of us not respecting the outcome, is to be condemned by the Government of friendly states.HIM Tsesar Dionisiy FeofanovychHasan Çakar, Head of the Divan
