Hasanistan Mejlis to be reconvened

Başbuğ Hasan Çakar has announced that the Hasanistani Mejlis is to be re-convened and has been reformed to provide accountability to government services and help make local decisions. The Mejlis had fallen into inactivity following Hasanistan's accession into what would become the Great Turan State. The Mejlis shall be composed of those elected in the last election and they shall be considered to be continuing to serve the same parliamentary term since their election.

The members of the Mejlis shall thus be as follows: Hasan Çakar, Chase Mahoning and Shady Morsi. The other seat, held by an individual who had previously left Hasanistan, will remain vacant. The political composition of the Mejlis has also changed since the election as the Pirate Party of Mahoning had previously merged into the People's Unity Party and the Ardajan Democratic Party has since dissolved. This has led to the People's Unity Party holding a majority of seats on the Mejlis. Shady Morsi had previously announced that he is a political independent but also the sole member of the informal technical grouping "Faction Fatherland".
