February election postponed; census planned

Başbuğ Hasan Çakar has declared that the planned elections and referendum, originally due to be held on 8 February, will be postponed. He has cited that the authorities of Hasanistan have other priorities and there had not been enough preparation for the election. Instead, the election will be held in the spring or summer of this year.

The government says that instead, it will prioritise organising a census to get updated information on subjects and residents of Hasanistan. The last census was held in 2021 and plans were made to organise a census in the previous year. The Başbuğ has also stated that work continues on the re-development of the Hasanistani national website and the Hasanistani authorities will seek to re-promote activity in the wider Great Turan State.
