Acting Prime Minister Hasan Çakar has issued a statement declaring Hasanistan's opposition to the war launched by Israel and the United States against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Iran War began on 28 February 2026, after the US and Israel launched airstrikes which killed the Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khameney. It has since escalated into mutual exchanges of airstrikes, drones and missiles, with Iran attacking US bases in the region, Israel and the Gulf Arab states, and has started a global oil crisis due to disruption in the Strait of Hormuz.
The Acting Prime Minister's statement reads as follows:
"Hasanistan is opposed to the war of aggression against Iran, launched by Israel and its servile court jester Donald Trump. This war will only bring chaos and destruction to the Middle East region, as well as to the rest of Asia and Europe.
Hasanistan believes the war should end and that peace in the region should be prioritised over expansionist ambitions.
The nation especially condemns the bombing of the girl's school in the Hormozgan."
