The capital cities of Hasanistan and Mahuset (Deñizabat and Lazia), two micronations with an close historical friendship, have established an agreement declaring each other as sister cities. A sister cities or twin towns arrangement is a partnership between two settlements where they promote cultural collaboration and exchange. It is expected that this agreement will further solidify Hasani-Mahusetan relations at the local level.
Prime Minister Lord Hasan Çakar, Beglerbeg of Deñizabat, has praised the twinning of the two cities, stating "This will strengthen our friendship and allow greater understanding between these two Great Nations". President Emiel Sebastiaan Hardy also said about the twinning of Deñizabat and Lazia, "As nations that have experienced close ties for quite a few years now, I believe that this will stand as a significant gesture towards strengthening the friendship and understanding between our two countries".
