Official candidates list of the 2020 general election released

The official list of candidates has been released following the closing of candidacy registration yesterday. Elections for representatives will be held in a total of five constituencies where candidates were registered, four sanjak constituency and one crown dependency constituency. There are a total of seven candidates standing in Hasanistan's first legislative election, three of which are running unopposed and will face a public confidence vote instead. The People's Unity Party fields the most candidates with three, while the Progressive Party will challenge their historic rivals with two candidates in Deñizabat Eyalet-based seats. be fielding two candidates. There is also a Northern League candidate and a independent candidate, both standing unopposed.
There are fourteen registered voters for the election, with the constituency of Deñizabat having the most with four registered voters.
