November 2020 election: Interview with Chase Mahoning of the Pirate Party

In the third of a series of interviews to be held with the candidates of November's upcoming elections to allow them to state their policies and political beliefs, the Batyr Times interviews Chase Mahoning of the Pirate Party. Mahoning is standing for both the Presidency and a seat in the Consultative Mejlis. Mahoning is a current representative within the Mejlis and was former Acting Prime Minister of Hasanistan for four days between 21 April and 24 April 2020.

Q: Greetings Mr. Mahoning, thank you for taking the time to speak to Batyr Times. You have decided to stand as a candidate for President and as a deputy in the Consultative Assembly. What was your reasoning for your decision to stand?
A: I am what's best for the nation. Under me Hasanistan will prosper.
Q: As the leader of the Pirate Party, what are the beliefs of your personal ideology and your party's ideology?
A: The yeeting [sic] of our enemies democracy and oil.
Q: What are your views on social policy?
A: We want socialized prostitution. Everyone has the right to the natural pleasures, the government should provide free prostitutes for everyone and anime should be in all schools.
Q: What is your opinion on economic policy?
A: Ban money, except for anime girls. Anime girls can have money.
Q: What is your opinion on foreign policy? Do you support Hasanistan joining international organisations? Do you support Hasanistani neutrality?
A: Hasanistani neutrality is key.
Q: If you are elected as President or as a member of the Consultative Assembly, would you work with the other parties?
A: Yes.
