Acting Prime Minister Hasan Çakar has issued an executive order establishing a state emblem for Hasanistan, a military force, a law enforcement bureau and an intelligence bureau.
The order establishes the star and crescent from the Hasanistani flag as the emblem of the state, Hasanistan had previously lacked a national emblem or coat of arms since its transformation and integration into the Exalted Gurkani State. It is believed that the star and crescent will only temporarily serve as a national symbol, as the Hasanistani Turanic Society has been designing a new coat of arms.
The establishment of the military, law enforcement and intelligence institutions highlight the current provisional government's desire to re-develop state institutions. Although previous constitutions referenced a national military, Hasanistan has not had a functioning armed forces since the Hasanistan Revolutionary Militia which existed during the earlier periods of Hasanistani history. As demonstrated in the name of the new institutions, their current forms will probably only exist for the duration of the provisional government.
The Prime Ministerial Order reads as follows:
"As the Acting Prime Minister of Hasanistan, with the agreement of His Excellency the Acting President, I proclaim the following Prime Ministerial order:
1) The Star and Crescent of the Hasanistani flag shall serve as the Emblem of the State.
2) The Provisional Defence Force shall be established for the purposes of protecting the sovereignty and territorial unity of Hasanistan.
3) The Provisional Public Security Bureau shall be established for the purposes of maintaining the Laws of Hasanistan, preserving public order, detecting crime and apprehending violators of the Law.
4) The Provisional National Security Bureau shall be established for the purposes of protecting national security of Hasanistan through the collection of intelligence and other such activities deemed necessary to achieve its objective."
