Hasanistan ratifies Charter of the Order of Highway

Hasanistan has ratified the Charter of the Order of Highway, an international civil order dedicated to animals in micronationalism and also those who help better the lives of animals, following approval in a vote within the Mejlis. The vote passed by 3 in support, no opposition, no abstenion and one non-present deputy.

The order was founded following the passing away of Highway, the pet and companion of Brennonian head of state Chase Mahoning, to commemorate pets and those who support animals. The order is awarded by approval of signing nations, with two ranks of honour for humans (Knight and Grand Knight) and two ranks of honour for animals (Companion and Grand Companion). Mahoning's pet Highway had already been awarded as Grand Companion of the Order.

Hasanistan's ratification of the Charter means it shall recognise the legitimacy of the civil order and participate within its administration. Besides Brennonia, Mahuset has also signed the treaty.
