Two new Provisional Council members appointed, Northern League created

Today, Chairman of the Provisional Council Hasan Çakar has announced that two more members have been appointed by him to become members of the Provisional Council, both of whom have some previous political experience within Hasanistan.
The first new member is Shady Morsi, one of the biggest figures in Hasanistani history. The former leader of Independence Party, former governor of North Hasanistan/Ardajan and former Premier under Hasan Çakar's 2016 term was one of the biggest critics of Tanju Çakar's three year presidency and a stanch anti-communist. He also served as a minister in Pavlov. The other member is former Pavlovian Sovereign Prince and alleged mastermind of the 2014 coup d'etat attempt Iskender.
While Iskender will serve as an independent candidate, Shady Morsi will establish the spiritual successor of his Independence Party known as the "Northern League". Mr Morsi says his party supports local autonomy, regionalism, federalism and anti-communism.

Hasanistan establishes first diplomatic treaty since independence with Ashukovo

This morning, Chairman of the Provisional Council Hasan Çakar and Ashukov Minister of Foreign Affairs Manu Tsompangolou ratified a treaty which established an official diplomatic relationship between Hasanistan and the re-established Ashukov Federation. Ashukovo is the first nation to recognize Hasanistan's independence since the dissolution of the Principality of Pavlov.
Negotiations for the signing the treaty began on the day that Pavlov dissolved and Hasanistan unilaterally seceded. Ashukovo and its province hold a historic relationship with Hasanistan that dates back to the single-party period. Hasanistan most famously had an up-down relationship with the Ashukov province of Mouzilo during its independence prior to joining Ashukovo. The two were strong allies during some occasions and fierce rivals at others. The two nations were even in a federation together during 2013, although it did not last long.
Ashukovo is not the only nation that Hasanistan has discussed establishing a formal diplomatic relationship with as Mahuset and Karno-Ruthenia have also shown interest in becoming friends of the Hasani nation.
In other news, Asghar Reza has been appointed as the first member of the Provisional Council by the Chairman. Reza has also established Hasanistan's first party since independence from Pavlov, the Bogdanoff Orbital Government.

BREAKING: Pavlov dissolved

In a shock announcement made this morning by His Serene Highness Sovereign Prince Iskender IV to the members of the Crown Council, His Serene Highness has declared that the Principality of Pavlov will be dissolved and that all its provinces shall be able to decide their own future. The reaction from Crown Council members was absolute shock and sadness and Minister of State Hasan Çakar had to hold a private conversation with His Serene Highness following the announcement. The move to dissolve Pavlov comes two weeks after a "transitional period" was declared and a new constitution was adopted, however the dissolution has nothing to do with any other the changes or inactivity.
Now that Pavlov will be dissolved, questions have been raised over the future of its territories and especially Hasanistan and Nazir. The local government of Hasanistan has said that it will continue to exist as a independent state and that it will work with and help any other province which wishes to continue as an independent state. The local Hasani government has also said that His Serene Highness will be granted citizenship and will serve in a major position. His Serene Highness will also work with the Lostislandic government, a nation that had good relations with the former Pavlovian government.
Work will begin today to establish a new government structure for Hasanistan and hopefully will be complete by the end of the weak. Hasan Çakar, Pavlovian Minister of State and the President of Hasanistan prior to integration within Pavlov, will become the temporary head of state and has said Hasanistan will not use a previous constitution although a new constitution may use elements of it. Finally, Hasanistan may integrate territories of the former Pavlov if allowed to continue some of Pavlov's legacy.

About us

Hasanistan, officially the Federal Republic of Hasanistan (Hasani: Hasanistan Federal Jumhuriyeti), is a self-proclaimed state with territorial claims situated across the Greater Middle East region. Hasanistan has been described as a micronation or an alternative government by external observers due to its lack of international recognition and the minimal control over the regions it holds territorial claims upon.
