Yesterday, Hasanistan's entry in "The Melody" song contest successfully qualified for contest's final. Hasanistan had selected "Run with U" by the Azerbaijani band Mamagama as its entry into Melody, which had previously been the song representing Azerbaijan in the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest.
The Melody is an event organised by the Intermicronational Broadcasting Union, which also runs the IBU Microvision Song Contest as its flagship event. It is a song contest similar to Microvision Eurovision, featuring both micronations and unofficial macronational representations. This is the third edition of the event, reflected in its official branding as "The Melody 3", and the city of Newcastle in the United Kingdom is serving as the host. This is Hasanistan's first time participating in The Melody, although it previously took part in the 2022 and 2025 editions of the IBU Microvision. Hasanistan had not competed in the 2026 IBU Microvision, hosted by 2025's winner Arlandica, in solidarity with Brennonia's boycott of the event over the ban on AI-generated songs.
Hasanistan qualified in its semi-final, alongside Switzerland, Romania, Albania, France, Spain, Belarus, Malta, Latvia and Montenegro. Portugal, San Marino, Estonia, Denmark and Lithuania failed to qualify.
Hasanistan's jury gave the following votes during the semi-final:

- 7 - Lithuania
- 6 - Albania
- 5 - Estonia
- 4 - Spain
- 3 - Malta
- 2 - France
