Yesterday, Hasanistan ratified a treaty to establish diplomatic relations and mutual recognition with the Minakae Republic (also known as Minaki). The treaty was signed by Hasanistan's Acting Prime Minister Hasan Çakar and Minaki's President Chrzan.

The Minakae Republic is a micronation located in the Great Lakes region of North America. The state had recently gone through political changes, including its name as it had formerly been known as Nordmeer and Alpecona.
Acting Prime Minister Çaka welcomed the establishment of ties with Minaki. He said following the treaty's ratification: "Minaki is a successfully developing nation and a potential micronational power, it will benefit Hasanistan to build this relationship".
