The remaining half of the 2026 MicroWorld Cup was completed today (24 August) after three games were played. Nesea has advanced to the Cup Final after a 6-0 victory over Stanland, which had been affected by technical issues, and a dramatic 4-3 triumph over Parasolia. Parasolia had reached the semi-final after their playoff opponent Ludzervik had been disqualified for inactivity and later achieving a shock 4-3 defeat of Hasanistan in a close quarter-final.
Nesea will now meet Brennonia in the final, while Parasolia will face Tymbarc over third place. The two matches are planned to be held this weekend.

Stanland 0–6 Nesea
The highly-anticipated match between Stanland and Nesea, the only quarter-final between two group winners, had originally been played on 2 August. However, after technical issues on Stanland's part, the match had to be abandoned in its final seconds. It was agreed between the two teams and the tournament organisers that the final minute of the game would be played while the score would be maintained, which saw Nesea leading over Stanland 4-0.
In this completion of the fixture's remainder, Nesea dominated with an early goal and one half-way through sealing an official 6-0 victory.

Hasanistan 3–4 Parasolia
After the disqualification of Ludzervik for inactivity, Parasolia advanced by default to a quarter-final rematch against group stage adversary Hasanistan. Having lost their previous encounter 3-0, Hasanistan headed into the game as favourites and hoped to continue their home tournament success.
Any hopes of a repeat of the group stage were cut short after Parasolia scored the game's opener at the twenty-first second. Hasanistan responded four seconds later, showing that the game would be a tight contest, and by the end of the first minute the score was equal at 2-2.
In the first half of the second minute, Parasolia soon took a strong two goal lead. Under pressure, Hasanistan increased its offensive play in the final moments of the game but a strong Parasolian defence prevented Hasanistan from truly getting back in the game. Hasanistan managed to score at two minutes and fifty-two seconds, far too late to comeback. A final Hasanistani attack at the last second managed to put the ball in the goal but just as the game had ended, ironically in a similar fashion to the Independent Team's defeat to Minaki.
Parasolia advanced, while co-host Hasanistan was eliminated. "We are proud of our performance but the dream is dead, it's over" Hasanistan's player Hasan Çakar said after the match.

Parasolia 3–4 Nesea
The two quarter-final victors soon after faced off for the place in the MicroWorld Cup final. Twenty-nine seconds after the game began, an opening goal by Parasolia raised hopes for another upset. Nesea equalised nearly twenty-seconds later.
By the beginning of the second minute, Nesea had scored to more to lead 3-1. Parasolia fought back fiercely and made the game 3-3 in thirty seconds to put themselves back in the battle. However, a side shot at the forty-second instant of the second minute saw Nesea to victory. A final counter-attack by Parasolia was cut short by the game's end and Nesea had finally prevailed in this dramatic semi-final.

Updates on administrative issues
While the matches were being played, the organisers of the Slopfest 2026 Intermicronational Haxball World Cup faced the dissolution of Yotamistan and arbitration case with the Independent Team's governing body.
The news of the dissolution of the Kingdom of Yotamistan, reportedly on 14 August, put into question the hosting of the tournament's final and match for third place. Scheduled to be hosted in Yotam City and Duck Island respectively, the important games needed a new host. The Brennonian and Hasanistani organisers have since reached an agreement with the government of Mahuset for their capital Lazia to host the final, while the match for third place will be held in the Mahusetan constituent territory of Mamucium.
The arbitration case between the Independent Team's governing body and tournament organiser Hasan Çakar over the decision to recognise Minaki's 4-3 playoff victory has also concluded after the Brennonian-appointed arbiters settled in favour of Çakar and affirmed the result's legitimacy. The case's settlement had been delayed due to scheduling conflicts for the original arbitrator Emiel van der Huijsen, leading to the appointment of two new arbiters (lead arbitrator Winston W. Blackburn and associate arbitrator Cecil Joseph Bowman) by the Brennonian government.
