The provisional government of Hasanistan has declared that it will recognise the validity of a number of older treaties establishing diplomatic relations and mutual recognition of sovereignty with other self-proclaimed sovereign states, believing that the ratification of new treaties is unnecessary and having confirmed mutual interest in rebuilding bilateral relations.
The following states will have previous treaties regarded as legally valid, effectively re-establishing diplomatic relations and mutual recognition:
- The Confederation of Mahuset
- The Karnian-Ruthenian Empire
- The Republic of Upper Shwartz Morgen Lorgen Land
- The Great Kingdom of Slitronia
Unilateral recognition of sovereignty will be granted to the Great Turan State, which Hasanistan was formerly a part of until last year.
Hasanistan has also declared that it continues to regard the so-called "Batyraq Pact", originally ratified with the City State of Konraq, as effective. However, due to instability and frequent political upheavals, it is uncertain over who currently governs Konraq. The Hasanistani government has clarified that it will recognise the "dominant faction" in the country as the other party in the Pact, which currently seems to be the "Provisional People's Government of Konraq", as long as it seeks peaceful relations with Hasanistan and respects the 2018 Konraq Independence Act. A new government body, the "Office of Viadalvosphere Affairs", has been proclaimed to oversee engagement with both Konraq and the cultural sphere of the former Derskov-Viadalvia.
The government has stated that it may reauthorise other former treaties if there is an interest by the other party, but noted that most of its former treaties are with entities which are now dissolved or inactive.
