Hasanistan participated in the final of The Melody 3, a song contest organised by the Intermicronational Broadcasting Union, on Saturday. Hasanistan's entry, "Run with U" by the Azerbaijani band Mamagama, came tenth-placed with a total score of 181. The contest was won by the Philippines and its entry by Janine Berdin, who received a score of 383.

Hasanistan's entry received 104 points from the national juries and 77 points from public "telephone votes".
Hasanistan's national jury gave the following votes in the final:
- 12 - North Korea
- 10 - Belarus
- 8 - Yaaria
- 7 - Finland
- 6 - Romania
- 5 - Albania
- 4 - Todia
- 3 - Slovakia
- 2 - Switzerland
- 1 - Beltown
Having been Hasanistan's debut in The Melody, Hasanistan's delegation organisers were impressed with both reaching the final and finishing in the top-half of the scoreboard.
