Election dates announced and campaigning begins

The official dates and rules of the upcoming elections have been announced. As well as this, campaigning has been allowed to official begin across the nation (although some parties released their election platforms before this).
The official rules, procedures and dates of the election shall be as follows:

• The election for the President of the Republic shall take place on 15 June 2017, followed by the legislative elections and gubernatorial elections which will take place concurrently on the 17 June 2017.
• Voting shall begin for all the elections at UTC±00:00 on their respective day and shall end at UTC±20:00 on their respective day.
• Campaigning shall be allowed to officially take place on 30 May 2017 and shall end one day before the election.
• Applications to take part in the election will end 10 days before the election, on the 5 June 2017.
• Candidates may drop out of the election at any time they want before 17 June 2017.
• The presidential election be using the alternative vote method. Legislative and gubernatorial positions will be using the first-past-the-post voting method.
• Legislative and gubernatorial elections will only take place in Batyr, Çobanistan and Ardajan this year.
• Citizenship applications sent before the 5 June 2017 shall not receive a reply until all elections are complete. Citizens cannot be revoked of citizenship until after the elections, except in severe circumstances.
• Once elected, the President-elect will be sworn into office upon taking the Oath of the Republic on 16 June 2017 and will select his head of government (currently known as the Supreme Leader) from the elected members of the legislature and then select his cabinet for the executive chamber. Neither the Supreme Leader nor the cabinet have to be members of the same party of the President. The governors and members of the legislature will be sworn in when their respective elections are complete.
• Results of the election shall be posted on the Batyr Times as soon as possible.

So far, the Progressive Party, the Northern League and the Bogdanoff Orbital Government have registered to run in this election. The Nomad Party has still yet to register and has made no official comments regarding competing.
