Yesterday, His Majesty Shahanshah Deñiz I enacted his second royal edict which established the "millet system", orders of knighthood and privy council.
The millet system (meaning "nation system") shall allow autonomy and self-governance for the different religious communities of Hasanistan, with millets having been created for the Muslim, Christian and Jewish communities under the edict. The millets have the power to try subjects under their own religious law alongside Hasani law. The offices Sheyk-ul-Islam (Islam), Grand Inquisitor (Christianity) and Chief Rabbi (Judaism) have been created to serve as the heads. Lord Krištof von Drakon, Beglerbeg of Köktuğluk has been made Grand Inquisitor and the former leader of the Islam Party Honourable Muhammad Ali has been made Sheyk-ul-Islam, the office of Chief Rabbi is currently vacant.
The edict has also established orders of knighthoods to honour meritorious individuals who have contributed to Hasanistan. The orders are as follows from highest to lowest order with their ranks:
Finally the edict established the "Privy Council of Hasanistan" to advise the monarch. It is composed of the Head of the Divan (Prime Minister), Heir to the Throne, the heads of Millets and other members appointed at the Shahanshah's discretion. The current composition of the Privy Council shall be HH Prince Sultan Mirza, Hon. Muhammad Ali, Lord Krištof von Drakon, Beglerbeg of Köktuğluk and Lord Hasan Çakar, Beglerbeg of Deñizabat.
